The last thing I want to see when I go to a site for some research and pricing is "This site is down for maintenance and final additions.", argh. For me its been done for a few days now, how lon does a fix up actually take?

Did some research when looking to upgrade my Scout. This rifle will be used in the tactical carbine role and hopefully I can convince my agency to allow me to use this as my patrol rifle. I Chose Vltor on price, material, and location. I live in the town where the factory is located, so I was able to go down and speak with the owners directly. I chose the Modstock in green and upgraded the standard stock to the EMod (Enhanced carbine Modstock) The folks at Vltor cut me a great deal and saved me about $80 over the list price. The stock fit my Scout very snugly, but not too tight. The EMod is much like an AR style stock that is 6 position adjustable based on your length of pull and your current load out. The toe of the stock is rolled under to aid in better transition from ready to shooting positions and is a bit heaver to help better balance the rifle. Weight is comparable to the OE stock and material is rough enough to offer good grip both bare and gloved hands but is not abrasive. Stock is weather proof and durable. There is storage in the pistol grip and the EMod however, the gun is heave enough. I prefer to carry spare parts and batteries elsewhere.

This stock works for me, but I would encourage anyone interested in upgrading to look at all the available options and choose what is best for your application.

Good surfing.

hope this doesnt violate the rules ,if it does, m1a rifles  you can delete it. but check out ar15.com and snipershide.com, there are a fair amount that come up in the equipment exchange for sale, and you can save some cash for other mods.

I'd Rather be right than politically correct
