I just bought a new m1a socoom. I always thought 308 win and 7.62 nato were the same. If there is a caliber marked on the barrel, I can't find it. The manual says use 7.62 nato military. Your site shows 308 win. I am really confused after looking on the net. Could you send me the answer?

              Thanks,

               Ron

I bought one of the Quake Claw sling for my M1a based on this review. However the sling attachments do not fit my rifle. They have swivels and my M1a has steel sling loops. Someone please tell me what I'm missing here?

This is a really nice website with a ton of useful info and links. However when I follow the links trying to get a feel for what an M1 or M1A I could shoot at a local range would cost me, they are all out of stock. They must sell well or they wouldn't be out of stock so why aren't they getting new stock in?

Again, thanks for the great site.
